I got the pleasure tonight to be with a couple who gets to celebrate many FIRSTs in the same day. What do I mean by many firsts? Glad you were wondering! We started off the day downtown at the Nesbett Courthouse, where once inside, the nephews of the bride simple stated, "this is the FIRST wedding I've been to where we have to walk thru security first!" Then off we went up stairs to the courtroom for my Bride and Grooms FIRST (and only!) Wedding Ceremony. The magistrate also had some pre-wedding jitters; we found out it was her FIRST day on the job! (Lucky for us she had preformed two other wedding before we got there.) The newly wed couple shared their FIRST kiss, and off we went to the Anchorage Zoo. Once there, again, we found out this was the FIRST wedding reception performed in the new building. So, let me be the FIRST to offer you a sneak peak at the FIRST of many days of the new Mr & Mrs Perkins!
